What are Lip Fillers?

Lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid - a substance naturally produced within the body that attracts moisture and holds up to 1000 times its own weight. When injected with hyaluronic acid, you’ll instantly see plumper, more hydrated and contoured lips.

When going in for a lip filler consultation, it’s necessary to express desired results to your clinician. During your consultation, you can decide if you want a full or half syringe, depending on your aesthetic goals. Lip Religion specialises in the shape and symmetry of lip tissue and provides anatomical correction. Your lips may have some minimal swelling and bruising which is usually self limiting for a few days. Lips are usually fully healed within a week.

The Russian lip technique (otherwise known as tenting) is most commonly used at our clinic however this is not always suitable for all patients. This will be discussed with you during your consultation with one of our nurses and the prescribing doctor.

Fuller lips are associated with youthfulness and there’s nothing that can give you that feminine confidence like lip filler. Results can be life changing.
